 Fighting for Freedom: DCFS Case Update


My heart still aches thinking about the 12 long years my daughter has spent in the foster care system under DCFS supervision.


My Story:


DCFS intervened when my daughter was just a baby.

Despite my advocacy and countless court battles, reunification remains elusive.

Current status: I'm pursuing a $31 million lawsuit against DCFS for negligence, misconduct, and emotional distress.


Current Update:

I recently requested my daughter's case records under Welfare and Institutions Code §827.

DCFS approved my fee waiver request, but I suspect they'll withhold or redact crucial evidence.

My follow-up email demanding transparency is pending response.


Emotional Reflection:

This journey has drained my emotional reserves, yet my love and determination for my daughter remain unbroken.

Hope for Reunion:
